Adopt a School

What would happen if…

• Churches across North America prayed every week for students in 65,000 public schools in North America?
• Volunteers from those churches served the schools as hall monitors, classroom assistants, tutors, event organizers, PTA delegates, or coaches?
• Students from those churches were empowered to be salt and light on those campuses?
• God-fearing staff members from those churches, whether teachers, principals, or administrators, recognized their profession as a calling?

Could we see a change is student test scores.  Would the environment our students learn in change for the better.  Could there be more opportunities for God to move in the lives of students in our communities.

The idea is doable. There are 45,000 Southern Baptist Churches with many more evangelical churches in North Amerca. Including the private and/or parochial schools, there are still more than two churches for every school.
