T1 Prayer

T1 is an effort to challenge students and adults to pray every Tuesday at 1:00 pm. This is a commitment to pray for a spiritual awakening across North America. We are asking the Lord to move in our personal lives and in turn that we will have the opportunity to share Christ with those around us.

"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV )

Preparation

Here are some ideas to help you pray for spiritual awakening:

  • Commit to pray for God to move in your own life.
  • Commit to pray for spiritual awakening among students and adults across our land.
  • Gather an accountability partner, explain the movement, pray with them and commit to pray.
  • Begin journaling and listing your prayer requests.
  • Spend time in the scripture to help you pray for a spiritual awakening.

Consider fasting each Tuesday.

The plan to help make T1 a vital ministry of your church:

  • Order enough free brochures and stickers for everyone in the congregation.
  • Plan a Sunday morning presentation of T1 to the church.
  • Distribute a brochure to the congregation either in the church bulletin or through student ushers.
  • Give a brief presentation on the ministry of T1, including the use of the static sticker, and ask people to personally sign up as a T1 partner.
  • Give an explanation of the Biblical use of fasting.
  • Challenge members to set aside each Tuesday to fast.
  • Begin a regular communication to all the T1s in your church. Keep them informed of the answered prayers and great victories in your community and across the nation.
  • Send stories of God movements in your community to studentz@studentz.com
